Kayak the beautiful Mary River, Yabba Creek or Lake Borumba and take in the breathtaking scenery! The river winds through patches of rainforest, eucalypt forest with Mountain views. Look out for Platypus, Rock wallabies, Endangered Lungfish, Mary River Turtle and the beautiful Kingfishers, just to name a few! Hire bikes and explore the forest and waterfalls with their custom maps.

Kayak Hire (self-guided)

Hire our sit on top kayaks (singles or doubles) and explore miles of scenic waterways. We’ll find you a stretch of water to suit your abilities. Safety brief & gear supplied. Benefit from the extensive local knowledge of the river systems, and updates on river flows and heights.

We also have a dawn or dusk kayak hire option (self-guided).

Mountain Bike Hire (self-guided)

Whatever your riding preference – road, forest, downhill, single track, X country – you’ll find the Mary Valley has it all! Our Bike Hire includes Mountain Bikes, comprehensive Maps of tracks for all levels and styles with Safety Gear. Vehicle back up if needed (at extra cost).

Kayak and Bike Guided Nature Tour

Ian will meet you at the Creek with Kayaks for the 1st part of your Nature Tour (approx 7kms). An Early Start is recommended to have the best chance of seeing the elusive Platypus and other local wildlife. Ian will then meet you at the end of the Kayak with Bikes, gear, maps and all the advice you will need for the 2nd part of your adventure. This takes you through scenic Forests and pleasant Country Roads (approx 17kms).

Guided Kayak Tour

Basic Kayak Instruction with a 1.5hrs Ecological Tour of the Beautiful Yabba Creek. A chance to see Platypus, Lungfish, Kingfisher, Water Dragons, Monitor Lizards, Turtles & More. Suitable for all levels of experience. Safety gear provided. Max 10 people. Advanced booking essential.

Bush Adventure Tour

Your Adventure starts on the Beautiful Yabba Creek, Ian will take you on a gentle guided Eco Kayak where you may see Lungfish, Water Dragons, Wallabies, Monitor Lizards, Kingfishers, Turtles & maybe even the elusive Platypus. This is followed by a complimentary lunch on our 10acre Bush retreat where you can relax around the Camp Fire drinking Billy Tea in a lovely bush setting. For those still feeling energetic a short Bush walk and/or try your hand at a game of Frisbee Golf.

Drop off and Pick

We provide Drop off and Pick up service for Hired Kayaks and Bikes. This service is also available for those with their own kayaks and bikes, small fee applies.
