  • Rathdowney Visitor Information Centre and Historical Museum

Rathdowney Information Centre Members of RADHA run the Visitor Information Centre.

The Centre has a large variety of brochures, books, maps etc to provide visitors to the area with plenty of information about what is available to see and do, and where to stay.

Gifts and souvenirs are displayed and can be purchased along with other local produce.

We have many interesting books outlining the cultural and natural history of the area.

The scenic beauty and rugged wilderness draws many visitors to the area.

Our 3D map of the area is now in place in the Glenapp Siding Building, which was relocated from the interstate railway line in 1998 to the Information Centre.

The Centre is open everyday inclusive of Public Holidays except Christmas Day.

Please give us a call on (07) 5544 1222 to check on our opening times.  For more information on Rathdowney please use the link to visit our website.

Welcome to Rathdowney in south-east Queensland, Australia.

Rathdowney is linked to Stanthorpe and Tenterfield by the scenic highway drive through the mountains of the border ranges; to Kyogle and Lismore by the Summerland Way; and is within comfortable driving distance of the hinterland national parks and the Gold Coast.
