Tin Can Bay has wild dolphins that visit the waters edge and Hervey Bay is famous for its seasonal whale watching. Head a little further up the coast to delightful Woodgate Beach and Bargara (famous for turtle hatching).
Inland are scenic drives through rugged gorges and mountain ranges, spectacular rural views and historic townships of the South Burnett.
