We live in a ‘foodies mecca’ – with over 40 wineries as well as many restaurants and cafes serving amazing food using ingredients grown locally. There are also other great activities to enjoy – from bushwalking, cycling, water sports (summer), fishing, golfing and caving. This region also boasts many small villages and beautiful drives.

Orange is built at an altitude of 900+ metres above sea level. Therefore, we are lucky enough to enjoy 4 true seasons here. Autumn is always beautiful with all the colourful deciduous trees that love our climate – hence why we are called ‘The Colour City’. Winter can often bring some falls of snow – although it never hangs around for too long, it is always exciting to see it falling and settling. Mount Canobolas is almost 1400m above sea level and can hang onto the snow for a couple of weeks. Spring is pretty but can be cool and Summer can be hot or it can be cool. When travelling to Orange it is always wise to pack with layers in mind.
