This B&B was purpose-built in 2009 and has many environmentally-friendly features – solar electricity panels and rain-water tanks as well as cross-ventilation using ceiling fans, raked ceilings and louvre windows; polished concrete walls and brick walls to utilise thermal mass and a lovely northerly aspect across the paddocks. I find that it is very comfortable to live in and I have a wood-burning fire when it gets chilly.

Seven hours from Canberra and seven hours from Brisbane. It’s a great place to recharge your battery and indulge in a fresh farm breakfast before heading off.
